Bob "Bonham" Horner - Stairway to ZEPPELIN ....Thunder Department

Bob started playing the drums professionally at the age of 11.  During junior high, high school and college he played professionally with a family group throughout Northeast Missouri, Southeast Iowa and Western Illinois. Bob attended college on a music scholarship and was selected by his professors as the top musician at Culver-Stockton College in 1987.

Bob went on to play with various rock variety groups playing clubs, corporate events and casinos. Bob has also performed with his church's music departments over the years, including Kansas City's Church of the Resurrection.

Bob' s major influences are Buddy Rich (the legend), Ronnie Tutt of the Elvis Presley Band, John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, Stuart Copeland of The Police, Neil Peart of Rush, Alex Van Halen and Steve Smith of Journey.
